History; Katarex was born in the same year as Raptor however they never had the chance to meet. Katerex was raised in a secluded den a mile away from the pride dens. Her parents were Nomads of the pride. Both of them were once hunters until they decided tolive a life of humility and survive nearly on their own on the outskirts of their territory. They taught their only daughter, Katarex, the ways of the jungle and gave her a spiritual connection with the energy around her. She grew to have potential far better then both her great parents. At a young age she began hunting and tackling game far bigger than herself. She could speak to the world and sense all the animals around her. She respected them and thanked everything she killed for the meal. It gave her a balance within herself that made her more capable then her parents. She was young, pure of heart, and determined. The only things was, she was lonely. Living away from the pride did not leave Kat with many friends, in fact she did not meet most of the pride.
She was only one year old when the poachers came and killed her mother. She was able to survive and retreat to Havennex with her father Dorinevien[Dor-rin-ey-vin]. When Raptor finally made it Havenex and held the emergency rank ceremony she finally gave Kat her official place in the pride as a huntress. She would honor her mother. Kat was pleased and had been waiting for that momenet her whole life. She should have been given her place when she turned one year of age due to circumstances it was put on hold for a year.
